The engraving work reflects d'Orbigny's ambition to provide an exhaustive and rigorous visual catalog of aquatic fauna, combining the elegance of the line with the precision of the scientific classification of the era.

This illustration is particularly suited for spaces inspired by the underwater world or scientific libraries.
