This reproduction of an antique plate offers a meticulous topographical view of the Norman coastline, covering the area between Port-en-Bessin and the cliffs of Étretat. The source work is the 1680 maritime collection, commissioned by Jean-Baptiste Colbert to structure the defense and trade of the Kingdom of France. The engineer Louis-Nicolas de Clerville deploys rigorous graphic know-how, capturing the state of the Norman coasts with remarkable documentary precision for the 17th century.
