Anisette Marie Brizard advertising plate by Leonetto Cappiello, 1928

This advertising poster reproduction illustrates Anisette Marie Brizard, an iconic creation by the famous poster artist Leonetto Cappiello dating from 1928. The plate presents a female figure wearing a voluminous dress with red and white floral patterns, whose stylized ruffles create a spectacular movement effect. The composition relies on a strong contrast between the luminous subject and a dark background, typical of the modern interwar aesthetic.

Cappiello, considered the father of modern advertising, uses an allegorical approach here to magnify the liqueur. The original work is part of a period when graphic art sought to capture attention through bold shapes and assumed theatricality. The bright yellow typography and generous curves of the dress testify to the artist's chromatic mastery and innovative spirit.

This ancient illustration is aimed at amateurs of graphic history and vintage design. It can be collected as a testimony of advertising evolution or used in decoration for its visual impact and historical value. This print allows observers to appreciate the finesse of the line and the hierarchy of visual elements characteristic of the Art Deco style.
