This faithful reproduction restores a 1928 print illustrating Senzoku Pond. The landscape, frozen by winter, highlights trees with branches heavily laden with snow, creating a sharp contrast with the bluish hues of the water and persistent vegetation.

Artist Hasui Kawase uses a classic perspective technique here combined with a precise chromatic study. This work is part of the tradition of seasonal landscapes of the Shin-hanga movement, seeking to immortalize early 20th-century Japanese nature.

Intended for collectors of Japanese views, this illustration lends itself to meticulous observation of graphic details. It constitutes a harmonious visual contribution for interior decoration inspired by naturalist art.
