This reproduction presents a detailed study of bivalves, highlighting a variety of shells with geometric and ornamental forms. Set against a deep black background that emphasizes the contrasts, the calcareous structures are revealed in tones of white and gray, offering a structured and artistic vision of these mollusks.

Extracted from the work Kunstformen der Natur published by Ernst Haeckel between 1899 and 1904, this illustration presents the Acephala class. Haeckel's work on the symmetry and organization of living things heavily influenced the Art Nouveau movement, transforming biological observations into true graphic compositions.

This vintage print is aimed at marine object collectors and lovers of scientific art. Its rigorous composition makes it a fascinating subject of observation, bringing a historical and encyclopedic dimension to interior decoration centered on the natural world.
