Reproduction of a naturalist illustration showing the dense inflorescences of Primula auricula, also known by the name Bear's Ear. The plate details the subtle violet nuances and the characteristic yellow center of this mountain variety highly prized in horticulture.

From the collection "Choix des plus belles fleurs" of 1827, this engraving highlights Pierre-Joseph Redouté's exceptional talent for rendering textures and colors. The work fits into a long tradition of illustrated herbaria where fidelity to the subject is paramount.

This reference piece is particularly recommended for lovers of ornamental botany. It constitutes a refined wall decoration, inviting the contemplation of plant forms and the appreciation of the naturalist artistic heritage.
