This reproduction of an 1827 plate depicts the many-flowered narcissus (Narcissus tazetta). The illustration details a bouquet of flowers with yellow petals and orange centers, highlighting the balanced composition and the strength of line typical of naturalist studies.

Conceived by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, this work is part of his collection "Choix des plus belles fleurs". It documents a variety appreciated for its early blooming, often cultivated under the Mediterranean climate before being introduced to more northern gardens.

This flora illustration brings a spring-like and scholarly atmosphere to any interior. It is particularly aimed at those who appreciate the precision of antique botanical drawings and Redouté's artistic heritage.
