Reproduction of a zoological plate illustrating Discomedusae, or disk jellyfish. The work captures the fluidity and radial symmetry of these marine organisms through blue-green hues evocative of their deep natural environment.

Realized by Ernst Haeckel for his masterful work Kunstformen der Natur, this engraving underlines the interaction between art and science. The hierarchical composition allows one to appreciate the finesse of the anatomical details and the characteristic transparency of the gelatinous bodies.

This ancient scientific illustration is perfectly suited for a collection of naturalistic lithographs. Its timeless aesthetic makes it a sober and instructive decoration element for lovers of marine biology and graphic art.
