Reproduction of a naturalistic illustration dedicated to amphibians, presenting various species of frogs and their stages of development. The plate details with precision the morphology of specimens, from tadpoles to adult individuals, in a rigorous scientific composition.

This work comes from the famous collection Kunstformen der Natur by author Ernst Haeckel. The treatment of skin textures and dynamic postures reflects the artistic and documentary approach typical of the scientific encyclopedism of the late 19th century.

This vintage poster is intended for enthusiasts of herpetology and ancient engravings. It naturally finds its place in a carefully appointed interior, offering a historical perspective on the study of aquatic and terrestrial fauna.
