Reproduction of a naturalist plate dedicated to the Grenache grape variety, taken from Viala and Vermorel's general viticulture treatise. The illustration features a cluster of dark purple grapes, contrasting with veined green leaves and orange-toned stems. The drawing rests on a typical pale yellow background.

The original work, published at the beginning of the 20th century, aimed for unprecedented scientific exhaustiveness. This plate illustrates the strength of line and the hierarchy of botanical elements, essential for variety identification. The composition highlights the density of the cluster and the morphological peculiarities of the shoot.

This reproduction is aimed at collectors of botanical illustrations and lovers of terroir history. It offers a historical perspective on grapevine cultivation, ideal for completing the decoration of a cellar or an office dedicated to the world of oenology.
