This reproduction of a Japanese print presents a landscape view of Nishi Park in Fukuoka, originally created in 1928 by Hasui Kawase. The composition features centenarian pine trees on a green hill, overlooking a vast body of water where a few traditional sailboats glide under a clear sky.

Originating from the Shin-hanga movement, this work demonstrates Kawase's mastery in the art of perspective. The artist uses a palette of deep blues and greens to emphasize the serenity of the place, while respecting the codes of Taisho-era woodblock printing. The visual balance between land and sea underscores a precise naturalist intention.

This collector's plate is an exceptional piece for lovers of Japanese art and coastal geography. Its chromatic harmony and graphic finesse allow it to be integrated into a collection of ancient engravings or used to enhance sober and elegant interior decoration.
