This artistic plate reproduction depicts Onuma Park in Hokkaido, a creation by Hasui Kawase. The illustration highlights the majesty of a mountain reflecting precisely in the calm waters of the lake, offering strong visual symmetry and a vibrant color palette ranging from deep blue to orange.

The graphic style used here emphasizes Kawase's interest in chromatic contrasts and natural perspective. As a work of the Shin-hanga movement, it reflects a desire to document Japan's geographical diversity with a modern artistic sensitivity while respecting the codes of woodblock printing.

This print constitutes a visual testimony of Japanese nature from the beginning of the century. It can be integrated into a sober interior decoration or join a thematic collection on Hokkaido landscapes, appreciated for its balance and clarity.
