This reproduction presents a 1932 artwork illustrating Nagoya Castle. The composition highlights the historic architecture surrounded by dense vegetation, rendered with a precision characteristic of naturalist plates. Shades of green and gray dominate the whole, offering a clear reading of the structures and the hierarchy of landscape elements.

Coming from the corpus of Hasui Kawase, this print is part of the renewal movement in Japanese landscape art. It bears witness to the author's documentary intention, capturing the balance between built heritage and its natural environment at the beginning of the Shōwa period. The graphic style favors a realistic approach and a balanced chromatic study.

Intended for history and graphic arts amateurs, this plate can be observed for its finesse of line. It integrates perfectly into a collection of antique reproductions or as a sober and informative decoration element, inviting the contemplation of Japanese architectural heritage.
