This reproduction of a naturalist plate illustrates Campanulidae, a colony of marine hydrozoans with remarkable symmetry. Taken from the famous collection Kunstformen der Natur, this study highlights the delicacy of the gelatinous structures and ramifications of these cnidarians, captured with exemplary scientific precision.

Ernst Haeckel, an influential 19th-century biologist and illustrator, designed these lithographs to reveal the hidden geometry of the living world. This work on Campanariae bears witness to the encounter between rigorous observation and organic aesthetics, having exerted a notable influence on Art Nouveau lines.

Intended for lovers of natural history and vintage graphics, this reproduction offers a fascinating dive into marine biodiversity. It lends itself perfectly to being framed, bringing an educational and timeless dimension to a collection or decoration space.
