The copy of this painting was a Little bit bad. I felt a lack in details compared to " original".And colors weren't nice. The rest of copys I saw were like more "night "colored. At least it was matte.

Il s’agit d’une estampe imprimée à partir d’une tablette de bois gravée, et il existe au fil des années de nombreux tirages, de qualités et de rendus très variables (encrage, papier, état de la matrice, conditions de conservation, etc.). Selon l’exemplaire de référence, les détails et la profondeur des tons peuvent sensiblement différer.
Si vous avez la chance de posséder un tirage original d’époque en parfait état — dont la valeur peut atteindre plusieurs milliers d’euros — vous n’avez effectivement guère besoin d’une reproduction ; et nous vous en félicitons sincèrement. Dans la majorité des cas, les comparaisons se font cependant à partir d’images numériques ou de tirages aux états divers, ce qui explique parfois les écarts perçus.
Concernant les couleurs, le rendu que vous mentionnez correspond à un choix assumé de direction artistique. Nous avons volontairement harmonisé les tonalités afin d’assurer une cohérence visuelle au sein de l’ensemble de la collection. Cela peut s’éloigner de certaines versions plus « nocturnes » que l’on peut rencontrer.
