This reproduction of a naturalistic plate illustrates tubular Radiolarians, complex geometric marine micro-organisms. Taken from the work Kunstformen der Natur, the image highlights the organic structure of the Phaeodaria through a precise chromatic study on a dark background.

The original work by Ernst Haeckel, created between 1899 and 1904, testifies to the German biologist's desire to unify art and science. His lithographs left a lasting mark on the history of scientific illustration through their acute sense of symmetry and their influence on the emerging Art Nouveau.

This print is suitable for lovers of marine biology and rigorous scientific aesthetics. It fits perfectly into a collection of naturalist plates for careful observation or decoration with a strong documentary character.
