This art reproduction presents the famous plate Snow at Inokashira created by Hasui Kawase in 1928. The illustration depicts a scarlet temple vividly contrasting with the immaculate white of the snow and the cold hues of a winter water body, under a late-day sky.

The artwork is part of the Shin-hanga movement, where Kawase explores seasonal atmospheric effects with great technical rigor. The visual hierarchy between traditional red architecture and silent nature perfectly illustrates the melancholic and contemplative aesthetics of this period.

Intended for collectors of Japanese iconography, this vintage poster allows appreciation of the finesse of the naturalist stroke. Its documentary value makes it a choice item for the study of winter representations of Japan and its traditional religious architecture.
