This reproduction presents the Tempranillo grape variety through a rigorous botanical study. The illustration shows a cluster of deep black grapes, contrasting with leaves whose hues range from green to yellow. The hierarchy of elements and chromatic precision serve an exemplary morphological description of this variety.

The source of this plate is the famous treatise Ampelographie, a major work by Pierre Viala and Victor Vermorel published between 1901 and 1910. This monumental project brought together experts to document the global wine heritage. Each plate constitutes a scientific study where the accuracy of the drawing takes precedence over ornamentation.

Used as a collectors piece or wall decoration element, this antique illustration testifies to exceptional editorial craftsmanship. It is aimed at wine-growing enthusiasts wishing to preserve a visual and historical trace of the evolution of European grape varieties over time.
