This botanical poster features a faithful reproduction of a naturalistic plate dedicated to Chamaedorea graminifolia, a palm tree with a slender trunk and long-pinnate fronds. The balanced chromatic study, oscillating between shades of green and brown, highlights the delicate structure of the foliage. The precision of the line offers a clear and rigorous visual hierarchy of the plant.

Originally created by the illustrator P. De Pannemaker in 1878 for the specialized work by Kerchove de Denterghem, this work is part of the great 19th-century encyclopedic inventory movement. The engraving served at the time as a documentary medium for the botany and horticulture of exotic species.

This illustration is aimed at enthusiasts of scientific iconography, palm tree lovers, and collectors of antique prints. Ideal for enriching elegant wall decoration, this reproduction offers lasting daily contemplative value.
