This illustrative plate brings together a selection of instruments intended for gardening and craftsmanship, taken from the 1885 Peugeot Frères catalog. The reproduction details with great technical rigor objects such as the gardener's hoe, the shoemaker's cutting knife, as well as mechanical devices like door springs. The functional layout makes it possible to grasp the diversity of shapes and applications of cast steel in daily life at the end of the 19th century.

The original work falls within the tradition of the industrial catalog, where the clarity of the line serves exhaustive documentation of the brand's products. It reflects the spirit of the era marked by the development of specialized tooling and the precision of wood or metal engraving. The graphic style, purely documentary, values the useful form and ingenious design of each tool presented, offering a precious testimony on French technical know-how.

This documentary poster is aimed at collectors of antique equipment and amateurs of technical iconography. Its neutral tone and neat aesthetics make it an ideal decorative element for a workspace or a library. This reproduction invites observation of the evolution of gardening tools and small hardware through the prism of industrial history.
