"Kinryū-zan Temple in Asakusa and Azumabashi Bridge from a Distance" (original title: 吾妻橋金龍山遠望) is a woodblock print by the Japanese painter and illustrator Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) produced in August 1857.
In this unusual view, a pleasure boat crosses the foreground, cut off at both ends. To the left, a geisha whose face is invisible. In the background, the Kinryūzan temple and its five-story pagoda, with Mount Fuji in the distance. Cherry leaves floating in the air add a meditative dimension, symbolizing the contrast between the ephemeral and the eternal.
