"Hibiya and Soto-Sakurada seen from Yamashita-chō" (original title: 山下町日比谷外さくら田) is a print by the Japanese painter and illustrator Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) made in December 1857.
A vertical composition with Mount Fuji in the background, symbolizing the changing seasons and the new year. To the right, a palace wall. Hagoita rackets from the hanetsuki game are on the sides, sold at Sensō-ji Temple in Asakusa. A shuttlecock appears to hang in the sky above the rackets, on which a character and a kadomatsu are painted. In the lower left, pine branches encroach on the palace moat. Kites float high in the sky, with a kimono-shaped yakko. The residence of the daimyo Nabeshima Kanso, an artillery maker, is in the background, decorated with a bale of rice straw.
